INDIAN is a Pleasure Yacht engaged in the Italian “occasional charter” scheme (VAT exempt). INDIAN is an Explorer Vessel. The benefits of an Explorer Vessel are that it maximizes safety, in all types of weather with a large range, whilst minimizing fuel consumption. She is L.O.A 25 mt yacht, 7,5m wide, a 2,8m draft and her displacement is nearly 200 tons. With four bridges, her volume is equivalent to a 33m yacht. INDIAN excels with her long cruising range up to 4500 nautical miles and her stylish Italian interior design being at the same time a seaworthy vessel unique on her own. INDIAN has a max R.I.N.A. security ranking class ‘A’ for no limit navigation. “Green features“. Thanks to a considerable restructuring work, to a crew strongly interested in “environmental issues” and the protection of nature, Indian is gradually converting towards an increasingly “green” perspective, further reducing consumption including the introduction of LED lights for both interiors, exteriors and underwater lights, controls for energy dispersion and environmental impact as well as the use of a diesel purifier to have clean combustion and the use of natural materials with respect of the environment for its refits. In addition, the yacht uses only ceramic and glass plates and glasses, no plastic straws, etc. The use of plastic bottles is reduced to a minimum as there is a drinking water producer on board with which to fill the carafes for daily use. Key Features 1) With her almost 200 gross tons, Indian is a seaworthy and a total safe vessel which ensures a very comfortable navigation in ordinary sea conditions; 2) Her up to 4.500 miles range means that she can navigate everywhere with a great deal of autonomy and a low fuel consumption. A consumption of only 70 litres at 10.5 knots, allows 4500 nm autonomy, perfect for long navigations. At 7.5/8 kts ‘night regime’ consumption can be reduced to 16/20 lt x hr. 3) The 4.000 lt water tank and the 300 lt x hr double fresh water production systems allow unlimited water availability. A dedicated system provides the necessary daily amount of drinking water to guests and crew; 4) Speed stabilizers underway and at anchor result in extreme comfort and almost zero noise and vibration; 5) 3 fridges and 5 freezers give great autonomy for long navigations or events on board. The large exterior decks include dining areas, lounge spaces, an entertainment deck with full bar/BBQ and still leave room for up to a 21′ tender & additional toys. In the wheelhouse only the best technology & navigational equipment can be found and large windows offer fantastic visibility. High tech audio system such as Sonos distributes different music in any different internal and external area of the yacht. A satellite Internet and TV connection allow communication at any latitude. A professional level galley and the skill of the Chef will satisfy the most discerning guests Accommodation: INDIAN offers 4 spacious ensuite cabins for up to 9 guests. One full-beam 25 sq. mt aft Master suite , one fore Vip cabin, two Twin cabins (one of them with an extra bunk bed) all giving comfortable space for groups of family and friends. Each cabin has audio equipment with access to music via the yacht’s SONOS central system. Each cabin is also equipped with TV satellite communication system so to be able to watch TV at any latitude. Dining and entertaining on board of INDIAN is equally comfortable outside, both on the Upper deck with its BBQ, a 6 fires stove and the 10 seats dining table, than on the shaded Main deck where the two coffee tables can be converted to a dining table for up to 10 guests. In both cases the guests will enjoy the lovely view of the sea . Inside, a large 8 seats oval dining table in the salon will be used in all other occasions. The top level equipment, the professionality, the sympathy and experience of Captain Fabrizio and his crew make of INDIAN a global cruising yacht with maximum comfort where enjoying a successful and relaxing vacation and …’last but not least’ thanks to very low fuel’s consumption, navigation costs are reduced to minimum.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to charter a yacht in Sardinia?

The Sardinia yacht charter season typically runs from May through October, with July and August offering the warmest weather and liveliest atmosphere. Many experienced charter guests prefer June and September, when you'll enjoy warm temperatures, excellent swimming conditions, fewer crowds, and greater yacht availability. Whether you're looking for vibrant beach clubs, peaceful anchorages, or the best value, we can help you choose the ideal time for your charter.

Should I charter a catamaran or a motor yacht in Sardinia?

For most families and groups, a luxury crewed catamaran offers the best balance of comfort, stability, and value. Its shallow draft allows access to secluded beaches and crystal-clear anchorages throughout the La Maddalena Archipelago and along Sardinia's spectacular coastline.A motor yacht is better suited to guests who want to cover greater distances, enjoy premium onboard amenities, or combine Sardinia with destinations such as southern Corsica during the same itinerary. The best choice depends on your budget, group size, and preferred style of cruising, and we're happy to help you compare the options.

Can I visit Corsica during a Sardinia yacht charter?

Yes. One of Sardinia's greatest advantages is its proximity to southern Corsica. Many crewed yacht charters include destinations such as Bonifacio alongside Costa Smeralda and the La Maddalena Archipelago, allowing you to experience two incredible Mediterranean cruising grounds in a single holiday. Your captain will recommend the best itinerary based on your yacht, charter duration, and weather conditions.

How far in advance should I book a Sardinia yacht charter?

For the widest choice of yachts, we recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance, especially if you're planning to travel during July, August, or other peak holiday periods. Sardinia is one of Europe's most popular luxury yacht charter destinations, and the best catamarans, motor yachts, and superyachts are often reserved many months ahead. Booking early gives you the best selection, preferred travel dates, and greater itinerary flexibility.

Do I need sailing experience for a crewed yacht charter in Sardinia?

No. A crewed yacht charter is designed to be completely effortless. Your professional captain takes care of navigation, route planning, docking, and safety, while the chef and crew handle every aspect of your onboard experience, from gourmet dining to daily service and water sports. Whether it's your first yacht charter or you're an experienced charter guest, you can simply relax and enjoy Sardinia from the water.

Are food, fuel, and drinks included in the charter price?

It depends on the yacht you choose. Many luxury catamarans operate on an all-inclusive basis, where meals, standard beverages, crew, and fuel for the planned itinerary are included in the charter rate. Most motor yachts and superyachts operate on a plus-expenses basis using an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which covers items such as fuel, food, beverages, and marina fees. We'll explain exactly what's included before you book, so there are no surprises.

Why book my Sardinia yacht charter through a charter broker?

Working with an independent yacht charter broker gives you access to the entire charter market rather than the fleet of a single operator. We compare hundreds of verified yachts, provide honest advice, and help you find the yacht that best matches your group, budget, and travel dates. Our recommendations are based on firsthand industry knowledge, crew feedback, and charter experience, and our service comes at no additional cost, as broker commissions are already included in the published charter rates.
